Dear friends from Holland

How are you? I believe your doing great during this festive season.

My family and I are fine and looking forward to celebrate the birth of our saviour Jesus Christ. Christmas is a time to spend with your loved ones and doing all that pleases God for sending us a saviour. We should share the little we have with others including the less fortunate so that the fed someone somewhere loves them as Christ loved the world. We should be good as we celebrate the birth of our Jesus Christ.

Merry Christmas to you all, yours sincerely, Josephine and Jacqueline Moshi

Forth winner
Aika Mboy, Dar es Salaam Independent School

Since I was young I had a wish that I always wanted to make. It is a wish I will love to share with the whole world – it goes to mother, father and their children.

My wish is for everyone to love each other, care for each other, together forever and always wishing each other a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Christmas is always about giving each other gifts and travelling but it means more to me. It’s even about loving each other and being cheerful, that is why I love Christmas

Second winner
Pamela Maclaha, Dar es Salaam Independent School

I wish the world could become a peaceful place.

I wish that the world will never have a wild war.

I wish poor people would have money.

I wish the world had people who are thanks giving.

I wish everything was free here.

I wish Santa was here and give out presents to everyone.

I wish everyone to go to heaven when everybody dies and have peace.

I wish everyone to love each other.

I wish people not to shout or fight or say bad things to others.

First winner

Candy Grace Ryoba, aged 7, Aga Khan School - WINNER

My big wish is to help others when they need help. I am going to help them to take care of their things at school or home. I wish to share with other kids so that we are all happy and we become friends. I wish share with children who need foods, clothes, toys, books. I wish to see kids who are walking in the street are able to go to school and get education like me. Also they get a better place to sleep, they are taken to the hospital when they are sick – I wish to see them happy and get chance to play in playgrounds and other games like me – example, piano, beach games, painting, moulding, learn how to use computer. My wish is to see children are always happy and they get best care from their families like me.
